We are proud that the esteemed team of the "Disfrutar" restaurant, represented by Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch, winners of the Best Chef awards in the top 100 in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, will come to Bulgaria to evaluate the cuisine.

Valeri Neshov

Professional chef with 28 years of experience

Creator of the brands "KROKMACH" and "CHEF VALERI NESHOV," which are registered with European trademarks.

He gained real recognition in 2002 when he took
the helm of the iconic restaurant "Beyond the Alley, Behind the Cupboard" on the bohemian Budapest Street in Sofia. That same year, the restaurant won the grand prize in Bacchus magazine's "Restaurant of the Year" competition and was chosen as "Restaurant of the Public" for four consecutive years.

Since 2014, he has been a co-owner of the cozy restaurant "Before 10" in Sofia, which in April 2015 won the "Restaurant of the Public" and "Guardian of Bulgarian Cuisine" awards from Bacchus magazine.

Today, Valeri Neshov is the first person who comes to mind when it comes to forgotten authentic Bulgarian and Balkan foods, products, and flavors.

Rosen Chakarov

Leading culinary expert

Rosen Chakarov is a well-known and inspiring advocate for promoting pure farm food, seasonal products, and a deeper understanding of the philosophy of food and nutrition. He is a mentor at culinary workshops at farmers' markets, and the author of the public project, book, and foundation "Zhivodar – Culinary Stories on Two Wheels."

He is the founder of the innovative Culinary Laboratory, a culinary center for event catering, private events, and outsourcing services nationwide. He is also a consultant, head chef, and trainer for dozens of restaurants and hotels in Bulgaria and Cyprus. Chakarov is known for his healthy advice, dinners, and menus through his cooking columns, television appearances, and guest chef engagements.

He is a lecturer at hospitality and restaurant forums and a judge at Balkan and national competitions. With over 22 years of experience, he has earned numerous national and international culinary awards.
